INGREDIENTS
- Smoke ‘n Magic Pork Rub
- 1/4 cup on top Smoke ‘n Magic Southern Twang BBQ Sauce
- Pork butt
- 1 stick salted butter
- 1/8 cup sugar in the raw
RECIPE
- Apply a heavy coat of Smoke ‘n Magic Pork rub on the top and sides of the pork butt
- Let the pork sweat on the counter for 30 minutes to an hour
- Place on a rack or cook directly on the gate. Cook at 275 for 3 hours
- Prepare the wrap-Gather pan, aluminum foil, butter, Smoke ‘n Magic Southern Twang Sauce, and Sugar in the raw
- Place pork butt in the pan on top of the stick of butter but lengthwise in half. Add Sugar in the raw and Smoke ‘n Magic Southern Twang on the top of the pork butt. Cover with foil.
- Place back on the smoker for 3-4 hours until it reaches 210 degrees.
- Use claws or your hands (use hot gloves!) to shred/pull the pork. Add Smoke ‘n Magic Sweet or Spicy Sauce if desired
